Shanghai Tops Group has developed a linear screw capping machine with outstanding screw cap performance and easy operation. Because it pushes the caps more securely and causes less damage to the lids, this machine is more efficient than intermittent capping. The fuselage body is composed of stainless steel 304 material, which fulfills GMP criteria.

Linear Screw Capping Machine Details

The conveyor elevates the caps, which are then blown into the track by the blower.

Two sensors in the track detect caps and automatically start and stop the cap feeder.

Cap dropping system

Cap dropping system (chute): When the cap passes through the chute’s exit, it automatically covers the bottle.

Cap pressing part

Cap pressing portion: When the cap is turned by the capping wheel, the cap pressing component applies pressure to the top of the cap.

Bottle clamp belt

A bottle clamp belt is efficient and secures bottles while moving them ahead with the help of the bottle conveyor at the bottom.

Three pairs of wheel twist cap

Three pairs of wheels twist caps off swiftly; the first pair can be set into a reverse turn to quickly place caps in their correct position.

Operation

The cap automatic control places the cap horizontally at a 30° angle. The bottle separator splits the bottle by passing through the cap area, bringing the cap down and covering the bottle opening. The bottle moves forward on the conveyor belt, and the capping belt secures the cap as it passes through three pairs of capping wheels.

The capping wheels apply pressure to both sides of the cap, tightening the cap and completing the capping procedure of a bottle.

Forming a Packing Production Line

The linear screw capping machine can be combined with filling and labeling equipment to create a packing line.

1. What Is The Use Of The Machine?

The linear screw capping machine is used to screw caps on bottles automatically. This is designed for use in an automated packing line. This machine is a continuous capping machine, not an intermittent capping machine. This machine is more efficient than intermittent capping because it securely presses the lids and causes less damage to the lids. It’s now widely used in the food, pharmaceutical,  chemical industries and more.

2.What is the Function of Each Part of Linear Screw Capping Machine?

Intelligent

-The blower blows caps into the cap track after the conveyor has brought caps to the top.

-The cap feeder’s automatic running and stopping is controlled by a cap lack detecting device. Two sensors are located on opposite sides of the cap track, one to determine if the track is full of caps and the other to determine if the track is empty.

-Inverted lids are easily detected by the error lids sensor. Error caps remover and bottle sensor work together to achieve a satisfactory capping effect.

-By changing the moving speed of bottles at its position, the bottle separator will separate them from one another. In most cases, one separator is required for round bottles, and two separators are required for square bottles.

-The bottle conveyor and cap feeder have a maximum speed of 100 bpm, allowing the machine to run at a high speed to accommodate varied packaging lines.

-Three pairs of wheel twist caps off rapidly; the first pair can be reversed to swiftly place caps in the correct position.

-Adjust the height of the entire capping system with just one button.

-Adjust the width of the bottle capping track with the wheels.
